Hello! I am so excited to be the principal at George Ward Elementary! Before becoming a principal, I taught Gifted education, third grade, kindergarten, and Title I. My career with Randolph County Schools started in 2007. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Davis and Elkins College, a Master's degree in Gifted Education from West Virginia University, and a Principal's certification from Marshall University.
My husband James and I have been married for 3 years and together we have four sons. We love to travel, camp, and spend time together (which is usually at a sporting event!). We are a year-round sports family - basketball, baseball, and travel leagues in between!
I am looking forward to a great year as a Bullpup where I believe all students can be successful through engaging and meaningful learning experiences, positive parental involvement, and community partnerships.
